Mikey Dread & Ras Kayleb Mikey dread started in the sound-system King Edwards in 1973, but it was in 1979 that Channel One (sound-system) really appeared to the London people. In the beginning, Channel One got known for his tremendous valves bass amp with a sound roundness and so powerfully refreshing. In that time when Shaka, Lloydie Coxsone, Fatman or Quaker City were on top, Channel One was playing so many blues parties in studend parties and also was getting slowly more recognised by the uk jamaican community.Truly famous since a decade but leaded firmly by his founder, the operator Mikey Dread and his unique styled MC Ras Kayleb (official MC from 1996), Channel 1 sound system is hailed for crucial selections in Roots Music and upkeeping some famous sessions  (Notting Hill, University of Dub...) and by the way considered as one of the worlds toughest sound system still active. CULTURAL WARRIORS (CH) feat. MURRY MAN (UK) Founder in Roots & Culture Sound System in Switzerland around 10 years ago, and also independant label from 2001, Cultural Warriors Sound System presents his set of Roots & Dub Music and comes for the first time to play & entertain the paris crowd. It will be the occasion for the people in there to hear some of Cultural Warriors 2005 upcoming releases, some ruff dubplates selections and the best in all kind of Roots, DigiRoots & UK Dubwise style. Featuring the official singjay Murry Man, one of the top european Roots artist, it will be a one more time the trio on stage with Lionpaw at the selections & entertainment, Dub Soljah at the controls & Murryman for some crucial lyriks."Tell me what a gwaan when Cultural Warriors & Murry Man a come" BLACKBOARD JUNGLE Sound System - resident After already 2 sessions, Rouen's top sound is back in full strength with Nico (selector / operator) + Sandy & Oliver (Singers) and their tuff sound system, the offishal provider for the 2 guests like every Paris Dub Club session. SESSION 2 - 15.01.05 ABA SHANTI I & BLOOD SHANTI - DUB DADDA FEAT STIX DAN - BLACKBOARD JUNGLE SOUND SYSTEM     Aba Shanti-I started in the 80's as Dj in Jah Tubby's Sound System. known as Jasmine Joe in that time, before involving himself in Rastarari and choosing his name d'Aba Shanti-I, et crée son propre sound avec lequel il se produit depuis plus de 10 ans. Ses prestations au carnaval jamaïcain de Notting Hill sont devenues légendaires. Every Aba Shanti-I session spreads positives vibrations and he's longtime hailed by medias & massives for being one of the Leaders in this movement. Will present vocally also Blood Shanti for this session. DUB DADDA (uk) featuring STIX DAN (Ja) Concert After working with Nucleus Roots, Zion Train and even UB 40, Dub Dadda released recently the "Lo-fi pon the hi-fi" album on his own label Dub Hooligan last month. Also with him on stage Stix Dan from Jamaica, on the mic stand. Blackboard Jungle Sound System - résident Aba Shanti-I will playing on their set, and likewise for Jah Shaka's session, they will open the session before Aba reaches in. Big UP !

PARIS DUB CLUB SESSIONS(Partenariat promotionnel) UPfront and the Paris Dub Club with this volume 2 of Paris DC a promotional partnership. A new club that has choosed to promote quality events in this music style that UPfront promotes since years. First date presented the Master and Originator in this style, Jah Shaka with Nucleus Roots as opening, Shaka playing on "BlackBoard Jungle" Rouen's sound system. Kikou, Upfront's representative in Paris was in there and apprecieloved the session as the massives. See the report...
